  • Summary: Nits: Sound quality for the handsets could be better. Not as good as an old Bell phone. Menu code entry for some options requires typing in a code. Pics: Loudness for speaker phone and headphone is very good. Range for handsets is fantastic; Second story on a hill. Battery power is excellent. Screen is big and bright and very readable.

Good phone set.

  • Summary: Although it takes some setting-up, it's a good system with good quality sound that my hard-of-hearing husband can understand without his hearing aid. Large displays, easy to read. Many more features than we will ever use. Best compromise between corded and cordless phones. Can be expanded with compatible cordless units.

Panasonic TX-TG6672B Digital DECT 6.0 Corded/Cordless Phones & Answering Machine

Eloy G., Newegg

  • Pros: Absolutely compatible with VOIP/IP phone service with most if not all service providers. Dependable, great transmitting and receiving voice quality and features allow for phone usage even if power goes out. I have my corded phone unit plugged into an optional battery backup power source(UPS), as an additional safeguard for power failures so that all functions, ie. phone messaging retrieval and LCD display, etc. continue to work. In addition, I have expanded from the i...
  • Cons: The one negative for the VOIP service that I use is that the service provider, (Ooma), needed to change, on their end, the musical dial tone that is the default on their service back to the standard dial tone that has been in existence forever. The reason was that the answering machine malfunctioned whenever someone called my number. That is, If they chose to leave a message, it was recorded clearly, but at the end, there was that pesky, Ooma music dial tone at the en...

  • Summary: I would not recommend this product. I have always bough Panasonic and the phones last forever. This didn't. The base especially makes static noise that increase in severity over time.

  • Summary: I have found this phone to be very good, easy to set up and record your greeting. When using the cordless handsets you can get a good distance from the base and still have good reception which was very important for us with where the base is set up in our home. I really like the blocked call feature on this phone system.

  • Summary: I have had several similar products and I can share that this is by far the best household cordless phone system I have owned. In fact, I am considering buying another, for my office. The system is quite intuitive compared to the competition, the displays are large, and the sound quality syperb. Range is excellent..
