Pros: Previous phone system was a Panasonic w/ 4 handsets, so I was familiar w/ the set-up. This model has 5 handsets, much better range, and has more memory for contact lists... more than twice as much.
Cons: With more features, this model was a teeny bit more tedious to set-up, but the instructions were clear and everything works perfectly.
Pros: The phones are already linked, just insert batteries and they're good to go, set the settings (ringer, time, date, contacts) on one phone and they appear on all devices. The phones also have great range as well (50+ feet from main base) and not to forget the battery life on these, which lasts a long time (3+days on standby) and also love the feature that stops charging the phones when fully charged.
Pros: This is the best home phone/answering system I've ever seen or used. Anything you enter on one handset is automatically on the other handsets. Great speakerphone and a long battery life. Most of the features are easy to use and it also has a "Call Block" feature that stops cold sales calls after one ring. Genius! And, not only did I get it on sale for $90.00, the shipping was free. I couldn't be more pleased with this product.
Cons: The call block could hold a few more numbers.
Pros: I am well pleased overall with these phones. Almost everything can be customized though the default values are well thought out and I have left most things at that setting. The sound is good on all the handsets no matter the distance from the base. Good phone, good buy.
Cons: Nowhere can I find information on the headphone jack on the handsets. WHAT SIZE IS THE THING! I bought a 3.5mm set of headphones - no joy, too big, nothing I have will fit. I contacted Panasonic and have received NOTHING from them except an acknowledgement of my email question and a 'We will be back to you' NOT! Why not just include at least one headphone in the box.
Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. I love the talking caller ID. Cannot live without it. I also like the call block and intercom features. I already own the Panasonic KXTG4034B model which has all the features that this one has. My only reason for purchasing this phone was to setup another phone number in my house. I've found these phones to be heavier, which I like.
Cons: None. But if I were to compare these phones to KXTG4034B, then I would have to mention that these phones need to be charged more frequently. Also, they don't light up ECO until you get close to the base.
