Summary: I was looking at the VTech to replace my GE phones, but the Panasonic had better reviews. I went with the reviews. Reception is great, phones look good and I have no problems. Three phones and an answering machine make this price a great value.
Summary: My experience over the years with Panasonic phones has always been positive. Although talking caller ID may be useful for some, I find it annoying - this feature can be disabled.
Pros: Good quality system offering many useful features. The easy-to-read display screen is noticeably larger than the screen on older Panasonic phones. Very nice lighted keypad, and the use of "AAA" batteries is always a plus.
Cons: Menu system is less intuitive than older Panasonic models. Hold-on to your user's manual, you will likely want the program "codes" for various features. Talking caller ID pronunciation/synthesized voice can be hard to understand.
Summary: I already own these phones and bought a set for my elderly parents. The readout is much larger than most phones and the audio that let's them know who is calling is awesome. They are very pleased!! We love these phones!
Summary: The phone arrived on time, was extremely easy to install, charged within the time frame given and I have had no problems. My only concern is...my voice mail messages seem to be garbled-not very clear- but I don't know that the problem is on my end. I know the other person was on a cell phone when they left the message and the problem could be on their end.
Summary: It would probably be a good phone. But I was specifically looking for speed dial and didn't realize that speed dial is no longer a common feature on Panasonic phones. I returned it without using it.
Summary: Easy to set up. Appropriate settings (like favorite phone numbers) set up from one handset automatically appear on all. Call blocking is easy to use. (Obviously, it won't keep the phone from ringing at all, since caller ID is not received until second ring.) I like the small handsets.
Summary: Nice phones. Like having three phones spread around the house. I have one at my computer desk, one near my bed, and one by my recliner. Good overall quality and easy to use. There's only one thing I don't like about the phones the ringer is not quite loud enough.
