Summary: I have had this phone set for right over 1 month. Already handset #1 will no longer work, it just quit in the middle of a phone call, and it is not the batteries. Handset #2 works when it wants to. I use these phones, and the Panasonic headset I purchased with the phones for work. The headset is awful too, no one can hear me speak, even after removing the foam mic cover. These phones are not consistent or reliable. I do not recommend them to anyone. Find something else.
Summary: Our other cordless phone system seemed to have some issues with the batteries staying charged, so we purchased this system as a replacement. While it does offer the option of purchasing additional handsets, we opted for just the two. Easy to install, easy display screens, and a loud enough ring for my husband to actually hear. There are multiple functions, so you can enjoy lots of options or just go for the more basic functions.
Summary: I was totally surprised at the speaker phone and I use it most of the time. The volume adjusts easily. My mother, who has a hearing problem, uses the speaker phone and she loves it. Light weight, brightly lite up and easy to follow instructions when initially setting it up.
Summary: I bought this phone for the headjack. I did a couple hours of research online looking for a phone with a headjack and this was the best priced one. I also looked at sears, ebay, amazon, panasonic ect. I could have purchased this phone with just one handset but the difference in price was only around 11.00, so I figured I would get the 2. I can't live without the headset. I can get so much done around the house while using the headset to talk on the phone.
Summary: This is everything I wanted in a cordless telephone: crystal clarity, excellent range, and an intuitive user interface. By the way, it looks good, too! I didn't require an on-board answering machine, so we were able to save a few bucks there, as we set it up to use the voice mail provided by our carrier. I absolutely LOVE the call blocking feature; it works great and is already paying dividends!
Summary: I needed a new land line, and after checking, found this to be a highly rated one. My old land line was so simple, but "high tech" took over this one, and the simplicity left. I make so darn many mistakes trying to find a recall number, or anything. Accidently call the wrong people, etc. Maybe with time I will get used to it, but when something says " hit menu and follow the prompts" then the prompts are symbols and arrows that I do not understand.
