Very nearly ideal for older people

K. Dancey, Amazon
16 July 2013
  • Summary: I needed a cordless, easy-to-use phone for an elderly relative with poor eyesight. This is the best money-can-buy for that purpose. The buttons are clear. The sound is absolutely great. It is robust. It is easy to use. What more could you ask for? Well, to get the extra star it would need a much bigger screen for easier-to-read-text (for those with poor eyesight) and - a bit of a luxury - the ability to tie a couple of different ring tones to different numbers, so the...

Chunky

  • Summary: Bulkier than it appears in the description, I found entering contact details tedious, but the sound is good and most of the functions easy to access.

It's ok

Hornetman, Amazon
21 June 2013
  • Summary: A solid phone, but where they have spent money on robustness they have neglected function and sound quality. The sound is very tinny and maximum loudness is not acceptable. The 'speaker phone' works well from a volume perspective but it doesn't pick up your voice very well and you have to hold it pretty close for the caller to hear you - no placing it by the cooker and getting on with dinner whilst you're on this phone.

Operates well but loading all the phone numbers in to contacts could have been made easier

Jason Ackroyd, Amazon
20 May 2013
  • Summary: Turns out our old panasonic wasn't broken, it was an issue with the ADSL filter but the new phone is functionally good. I was disappointed there wasn't some way of transferring the contacts list from the old phone to the new one but we had to key each contact in again but then it was very easy to copy the contacts from one handset to the other.

A good rugged phone set

Ashers, Amazon
13 January 2013
  • Summary: Excellent set of phones with a good range. These were originally purchased with an expensive DECT booster which I sent back to Amazon as they worked fine without it. We are using them for an animal based business so they are regularly taken outdoors and so far are working great with no problems at all. Might not have as many features as some other DECT phones but does exactly as it says on the tin, best DECT phone we have had so far.
