Summary: Have purchased two of these phones the latest was for my daughter who was being plagued by PPI pests etc, and having bought the first for exactly the same reason, we now live in an enviroment free from these pests and many others, all one has to do is put the offending telephone number in the barred list and all is calm again, I understand that the caller is faced with a ringing tone but on account that the their number is barred you don't get the ringing tone, so...
Summary: I found it rather difficult to set up but perhaps this was due to my extreme age (84). After much trial and error finally got it working to my satisfaction but would have appreciated being able to set the volume higher especially on the handset. Not as good as my previous Panasonic cordless setup Overall quite satisfied.
Summary: Brought for my 87 year old mum. She now has a two phones, the cordless by her bed and the main corded phone with answer machine next to her in the front room and if there is a power cut she can still use the corded phone if she needs assistence. I would have rated it 5 stars but noticed there is abit of feedback when speakerphone is used. However this may be because my mum's computer is just behind her chair - i.e other electrical equipment near the phone.
Summary: The phone arrived very quickly and was well packed. I received the guarantee by email which was also very good of the seller. I have read lots of reviews and can't believe some people don't read the instructions. They are very clear and easy for a 65 year old like me to understand. I put all my phone numbers into one phone and did as instructed to load them on the second phone, worked perfect. Our old phone was battery only and had worn out.
Summary: Advertised as having call barring, but this feature is in effect useless because there is no way to bar all calls for which the number is withheld. (Number-withheld callers must be the most common type of call one might wish to bar, and barred callers could still disturb you by witholding their number, so what's the point?!
