Summary: The most annoying thing about this system is the menu navigation. It only comes with an up and down arrow which makes it much more difficult to enter phone book entries. Also, instead of having a button for caller ID list like on a Uniden you have to go thru the menu to select "caller list".
Pros: -5 handsets -talking caller ID -caller ID displays phone book entry not number -large screen -works with voice mail service (stutter tone causes flashing light) -good reception/no dropouts -keys light up -standard rechargeable Ni-MH AAA batteries
Cons: -handsets can not have unique banner names (terrible for intercom) -global phone book instead of individual entries for each handset -terrible navigation -tiny buttons (have to use your finger nail to press them) -unreliable (not all handsets ring) -no choice for intercom all -only one handset ca...
Summary: By far the best wireless phones I have ever owned, and I have had a LOT over the years.
Pros: Great range, clear sound, large clear display, simple operation, intercom function between all handsets and base.
Cons: Minor nits: The soft function buttons under the display are black, same color as the surrounding material. Makes them hard to see in dim light. Painted mine yellow. On the base there is only a blinking light for messages, which if listened to, goes out even if it is not erased. So if one person l...
Summary: For the first year of use I thought the other reviewers who gave poor marks to this system were just unlucky. It appears obvious now that this set is just not made to last. Wish I would have found out before recommending it to my parents!
Pros: Good quality, for a while at least.
Cons: Just after the 1 year mark the call quality dropped way off for some unknown reason. Often the person on the other end couldn't hear anything, and on our end the background static became almost unbearable. Changing handsets made no difference. Fully charged handsets also made no difference. At fi...
Summary: I have a wireless network setup in my house and there has been no interference. Ring tones are nice, not annoying. Phone is pretty easy to use, I think my wife setup the time/clock which she usually never messes with.
Pros: Functional. Good sound quality. Talking/Caller ID phone. Comfortable. No interference so far.
Summary: I have the base in the kitchen and the other handsets throughout the house (basement to the 2nd floor). I've never had a problem with disconnects.
Pros: Five, count 'em, five handsets. No more running to answer a call, just put a handset in the most frequently occupied rooms in the house. Selectable ringtones, flashing indicator on the handset when a message has been recorded, access the answering device from any handset, intercom, speakerphone, ...
Cons: Not the world's best call quality, but it's pretty good.
