Batteries

Charles S., Newegg
31 July 2012
  • Pros: none
  • Cons: It is important that you understand that my comments are directed to Panasonic, not Newegg. I have been buying from Newegg since the company was in it's infancy, and have never had a complaint. This review is an addition to my previous comments. The batteries that come with the phone are only 500...

Buy something else

Charles S., Newegg
31 July 2012
  • Summary: Panasonic makes some good phones, but this is not one of them.
  • Pros: I bought this because it was Panasonic. My previous phone was Uniden DECT 6 with similar features. The Uniden was far superior. It was louder, clearer, much more attractive, more user friendly and had a lighted keypad. It cost $44 at the country's largest retailer.
  • Cons: Volume on speaker and handset are weak. The keypad is not lighted. It is not attractive. It feels cheap. The ring tones are all weak, and none are desirable. The phone must be laid on it's back because if laid on the front the clear plastic will get damaged making the display difficult to read. I...

Great Phones

Edwin S., Newegg
2 December 2011
  • Summary: Wish I had bought the model with 4 handsets. I have an older Panasonic model that is 10+ years old and haven't had a bit of trouble the entire time.
  • Pros: Excellent sound quality. Easy set up with a multitude of options. Belt clip is really useful, especially when I'm in the garage.
  • Cons: None

Works great, less filling

Frank E., Newegg
23 October 2011
  • Summary: Thanks again Newegg.
  • Pros: Great phone, works find and had an easy setup menu for an older woman. This phone was for my 67 year old mom. She really liked the fact that it had bigger numbers on the buttons and not a million button to work the answering maching. So far she is really happy. Happy mother means less naggerey.
  • Cons: Buying it sooner and saving me from a few weeks of complaints.

Great Phones!

Lisa W., Newegg
23 August 2011
  • Pros: Great sound quality, appearance is nice, setup is very simple!
  • Cons: The ring tones are a little odd. But there was one that I liked. There just wasn't one ring that sounded like a normal "phone ring sound". But, one of them was close and not annoying, so that worked for us!

  • Summary: I love Panasonic phones. My last phones just died. I have had them for around 7+ years. They are very user friendly. Just give it about 1 half hour or less and you will have it set up with ring tone, volume, answering machine.
  • Pros: Large digit numbers. Adjustable Ear volume, Adjustable ringer volume. *** Very similar to using a cell phone ***
  • Cons: Non yet... but if its like my last Panasonic phone... 0 cons

Good choice, great price

Anonymous, Newegg
18 November 2010
  • Pros: Range is good, call clarity is excellent. Nice feature of being able to call the other handset, but not something I use much.
  • Cons: Shape of phone handset is a little bit rounded on the back to my taste, making it easy for my hands to slip off. The plastic surface is somewhat slick, though normal for cheap electronics. A couple of inlaid rubber strips would be really nice for grip.
