Summary: Final thoughts are that this is a great phone, especially for what I paid for it.
Pros: I bought this phone for a home asterisk PBX set up and so far it is working great. The phone was very easy to setup. The call quality and the Speaker quality are great. With the two lines this is nice for my business calls to have one and my home phone to have one.

Summary: I've used these phones before and really like them. Only problem is in trying to get it to work with Blueface in Ireland. Got calls coming in but cannot dial out yet. Once I crack that it will be great to have one of these phones again.
Summary: We used Grandstream 280 phones which where fine. But Grandstream have messed up with the new 1400 phones, Web interface is horrible. New firmware (which auto loads by default) then causes new issues.
Summary: This is a very good phone and I am very pleased with it. Sound quality through handset, headset and speaker is excellent. Good volume levels and very good hands-free microphone. The phone is a little complicated to set up and I initally had problems where outgoing calls were fine but incoming calls had no sound at either end. Grandstream Tech Support was excellent and over couple of days managed to diagnose and resolve the problem.
