Summary: I bought this phone to replace the Paragon 500 that had served me well for many years at my business until the answerphone stopped working. This new phone arrived very promptly and was well packaged.
Summary: I am not normally given to completely dissing a product - I try to be objective and give a fair review; however I am afraid that there is nothing that I can say about this phone other than it is a piece of junk. What are the basic things we require from a telephone?
Good phone for working at home - has a few querks but nothing major - I would recommend

Summary: I work from home and the spend a lot of time on the phone so i needed a phone with a large phone directory and one that i could plug a headset into. I also wanted a corded phone so it didn't interfere with the cordless phones I have plugged into my other home phone line.
and the display itself is very clunky and dated - like something from the early 1980's

Summary: This phone promises a lot on paper but fails miserably in practice: 1.It does not have even ONE decent ordinary telephone ring-tone. All the available tones are awful, and the ring volume is low and cannot be adjusted. 2.
Summary: This is actually a really good phone once you get used to the quirks. The ringtones are indeed for the most part ridiculous but there are a couple you can use which would pass for a regular phone.

Summary: I see a lot of people panning this phone and that's not unusual because you can't find a corded phone with a decent review. Here is my experience. Turned up undamaged plugged in handset and phone line. Bit disappointed it needed a power plug but that's the way it goes.
