Summary: Not a phone I would recommend to anybody, the ring tones are awful, overall volume is too quiet, cant hear it ring when not in the same room, and we live in a bungalow, and no, we are not hard of hearing. General setting up was confusing and the instruction manual could be a bit clearer. Our previous phone was a Paragon so we thought this would be as good, mistake. So we will just put up with it.
Summary: Good all-round telephone with built in answering machine. Handset comfortable to hold. Menus quite easy to navigate. Needs to be connected to a mains socket to enable display and most functions e.g. answering machine and name/number memories. Display remains blank until handset is lifted or a call comes in. Not the cheapest phone but quite well made. Ringtone choice rather limited.
Summary: After having a Paragon 500, the set up was uncomplicated. I thought that the colour (cream) would be off putting but it looks okay on the work station. I think that the only negative comment I can make is regarding the volume of the ring tones - I woud like to increase the volume more. Apart from that, I have no other adverse comments.
Summary: Good points Good sound reproduction on the answerphone unlike many cordless phones Bad points Too much technology has features we will never use. Other thoughts Would like a light to show when the phone is on, especially as we get quite a few power cuts.
Summary: I purchased this 'phone as a replacement for my old "BT Response 123" which had started to lose all numbers in the phone's memory. Unfortunately what the Item description did not state was that this 'phone could not be wall mounted. As my hall is narrow and there not being enough space to place a small table, wall mounting is imperative. It was suggested that I move the 'phone to another room i.e.
Summary: This is a great phone, with all of the features I needed. Looks nice and works a treat, lots of great features and priced about right. But whoever created those awful ringtones needs shooting, point blank. Seriously, bring back the 80's why don't you. They are truly awful. What's wrong with a few nice rings, you know the kind of noise that a phone should make. Even if you choose one of the non-polyphonic ring tones, the normal tones are amazingly irritating.
