Summary: This product isn't great. It was cheap, so you can't really complaint, but I have now lost count how often I have tried to use it to find there is no battery. I don't think the connectors line up in the holder with the base of the phone, so although the phone is supposed to be charging, it isn't. It was a stop gap phone, but I will replace it as soon as I can.
Summary: Beware of the BT button on the right. I hit it inadvertently and it cost me £2.87! Apparently the phone has a preinstalled 118 500 telephone number. I didn't know that I had dialled the number and did not even speak to anyone!! Wish I knew how to remove this preinstalled BT number. Apart from that the phone/answer machine is adequate.
Summary: Absolutely awful screen dullness ruins an otherwise good product. Even with brightness/contrast set to maximum it is unreadable most of the time. I saw other reviews saying this and tthought "Surely it can't be that bad - but it is - and more! Surely an organisation with the resources of BT could sort a problem like this easily.....apparently not!
Useless for poor eyesight and fiddly memory recall
25 July 2014
Summary: Designed by a person who doesn't understand that you want a big button phone because of limited eyesight and/or poor manual dexterity. The buttons are lovely and big but then you have to use the fiddly central rocker switch to retrieve (or add) numbers from the directory or redial. There are no preset memory buttons and no quick dial facility.
Summary: I've been using the BT Graphite 2500 Single for almost two years now and while it works, it's probably not one I'd recommend. The keypad is reactive and has a good range from the base. It's easy to work through the menu and the main reason I bought it was for the answer machine which works perfectly. The biggest downside for me has been the connectivity from phone to base.
Summary: Best thin about this telephone is that it allows you to screen incoming calls and ignore those annoying call centres! Downside is the body is very light and there is no facility for mounting it firmly so you have to take care when lifting the handset or the whole thin goes flying!. Apart from that a very good quality item.
Summary: I was nervous about buying this because of the review which says it looses messages if there is a power cut. I live in an old cottage and power cuts are not uncommon. However there is no such problem. I called it from another phone, left a message then disconnected the power cord for ten seconds and when I plugged the cord back in the message counter still said 1 message and the message was there along with the directory listings.
Summary: These are only good for one thing and that it to make and receive phone calls but it does not have caller I'd like it says and as for the answering machine that has not worked since I have had it as every time my friends phone it says they can not leave a message. So I would not reccomend this at all.
Pros: Good instructions, Internal Call Function, Easy setup,
Summary: I have one of these so my mum being a bit deaf she uses the speaker phone on it all the time. its really loud and you talk from quite a distance away if you are looking for a reasonably priced hands free phone I would recommend this, also I found it easy to program numbers in the memory, great.
Summary: Bought this phone because it has a power supply & I am fed up with battery phones dying when batteries run out. Overall this phone is easy to use with a readable screen. Negative points: Firstly, the hand piece it very light & when you hang up the phone it can sometimes stay connected because the handset has not pressed the off button down sufficiently. Secondly, the screen could do with being backlit for easier reading in poor light. Hence my 4 star rating.
