Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality of the phone. I use it almost exclusively with a headset (RJ11) and could immediately notice the difference in the audio quality from my old NRX Evo 350. The microphone also worked considerably better with this phone. The handsfree speakerphone is not very loud but perfectly usable and along with the volume control and secrecy (mute) button it has everything I need in a home office phone.
Summary: This could easily have been 5 stars as it is a good phone at a good price. But even though the handset quality is excellent, there is just too much static and not enough call volume to actually have a conversation using the handsfree mode.
Summary: This phone offers wall mounting which seems to be a feature of the past. No batteries needed since there is no display Does not flash annoyingly when a call is answered on another phone within the house. BEWARE template not quite correct when drilling holes for wall mounting.Exceptional audio quality.
Summary: I've given this phone 2 stars rather than one because, as a plain and simple 'phone, it's fine. However, I bought it because I have problems using a handset for long 'phone calls and it has a headset jack. I bought a TH100 headset at the same time to use with it. This was a complete waste of time and money as the microphone volume when using the headset is so low that the person at the other end can hardly hear me and the Amplify button seems to do nothing.
Summary: I already had one of these and found it to be very useful as I can use a headset with it. The only drawback is that it does not have a timer so that you know how long you have been talking for (if you have the BT Anytime talk for free up to an hour) So I just bought a separate timer and try and remember to switch it on before i start talking!!
