Excerpt: A couple of years ago, I decided it was time to upgrade from my old 80's corded phone, and buy a wireless one! So, I logged onto eBay, and had a look at the cheapest ones I could find, and at the top of the list was the 1210. So, I clicked on it, and it seemed to do everything I needed it to. I clicked "Buy It Now", paid about £6, and a few days later I received it through the post! The box was small, and had a small description of the phone on the side.
Pros: Long distance for reception, great clarity, ability to store received and dialled calls
Cons: Could be more modern aesthetically, but that doesn't bother me
Summary: the phone i received was a bad one - the battery connection was faulty and depressing many of the buttons had the effect of disconnecting the phone from the network. possibly it had been dropped somewhere along the line. as a result i was forced to return it for a refund. i have since obtained another model rather than take a chance on reordering a replacement binatone.
Summary: This product is rubbish... but I guess for the price you get what you pay for. The answering machine cannot be customized. Good for a short period, but after 1 month I'm already looking for an upgrade.
Summary: This is a reasonable cordless phone set at this price range. It looks nicer than most of the handsets out there and also includes an answer machine. The call volume is nice and loud. The range is good, and works well all around my 2 storey house. The menu system is quite intuitive and simple to use. The buttons are comfortably soft but being made of rubber, tends to attract lots of lint/dust. However it has a few flaws which let it down.
