great start but...

  • Summary: Good phones are HARD to find and I loved this phone! This phone is perfect for a micro-business. Grrr. Too bad the wireless handset didn't hold up.
  • Pros: The base unit is sturdy and the calls are clear. Operation is straightforward. Speaker phone is excellent and works with a whisper. One of the best I've ever used.
  • Cons: The wireless handset quit working after 18 months. Now it shows an error code that cant be cross-referenced anywhere. The spare battery doesn't seat properly. The only handset replacements I can find are more expensive than replacing the entire set. Fluorescent lighting would interfere.

  • Summary: If you want extra handsets buy several of these and keep the corded base for spare parts (tongue in cheek here.)
  • Pros: Good quality phone. Two line service. Clear. Won't interfere or be interfered with 802.11 networks.
  • Cons: An "extra" handset costs more than this set!! (about 180 clams) ... and try to find one. Newegg doesn't have any. I was able to find only three vendors online that do.

  • Summary: Manual was well done. One of the easiest phones to set up I've had, but wish I could transfer directory from base to handheld. Voice quality and ringer on both are good. No interference from nearby appliances. Not difficult to operate. Battery level indicator on handheld.

  • Summary: Works great no problems had it for 3 days without any issues. Does not interfere with my wireless network which is the main reason I bought it. Range is not as far as 2.4ghz but more than acceptable. I'm using it with a land line and VOIP both lines work great with no latency.
