Set Now Complete

Old Timer, J&R
11 December 2010
  • Summary: I purchased a set with base phone and five cordless handsets. This purchase was to add to this system to include upstairs rooms and basement. The wireless intercom is the most useful part of the system. I wish there were built in fire alarms as well.
  • Pros: Compact design, Easy To Set Up, Good Sound, Nice Features, Strong Signal

  • Summary: This is a great handset. I bought the base plus a total of three handsets at first, loved the performance, and purchased 2 more handsets. Setup was fairly easy, the charge lasts a long time, and it has great call clarity and range. Very satisfied.

  • Summary: I am returning this product because you have to have the base to operate it. This purchase only includes the handset. I did not realize this until I received my order. I can not rate, sorry.

  • Summary: When I placed the order (originally) I did not know it was only the phone extension. I believe the product description should have made clear that the base product was needed prior to this purchase. It ended up costing us over $70 when we were only prepared to spend about $30. Very disappointing!

  • Summary: The AT&T DECT 6.0 phone has a simple design with large round buttons so fat fingered callers won't dial the wrong number, and the user interface is easy to learn. It also sits well in the charger without falling out. The reception is great anywhere in the house and it transmits voices loud and clear. The speakerphone works very well, but you can also cradle the phone on your shoulder without dropping it or mashing the buttons.
