Great with ESXi

Anonymous, Newegg
29 March 2012
  • Summary: We have 7 ESXi servers running 4 of these processors each. It's a huge amount of capacity concidering that one server is able to handle about 75 VM's with only about 70% CPU consumption (across all 4 CPU's).
  • Pros: 8 Cores w/ hyper-threading
  • Cons: Price

  • Cons: none

  • Summary: Of course servers don't need video cards because, well it doesn't need one at all except to see the screen to open and run programs. The site I bought it from didn't allow reviews so I thought I'd help newegg and its users out.
  • Pros: I run a rather large website with this and it has absolutely no problem handling sometimes thousands of people using it at once. Because I'm sure newegg wouldn't like it I'd rather not post the name of my site, but odds are you've heard of it, if not used it. I host a website on six cores, one ga...
  • Cons: A little expensive but it's worth it running a large website, a gameserver, and an email service on it all at once. It's a little hot, but that's when my site, server, and email service are all being used at their limits.
