Summary: For the price, G640 can manage the basic stuff - browsing, word processing, music storage (for iPhone), etc. Mobo is Intel DH61WW which is also quite basic. Gave it DDR3-1333 4GB of RAM, although the specs on Intel website says supported memory is Kingston DDR3-1066 - so somehow there's a bottleneck there. I failed to notice this detail when I bought the processor. If I did I would have gone with Core i3-2100 which supports DDR3-1066/1333.
Summary: Used this CPU with a ASRock H61M-DGS Motherboard, works great. Easy installation, quite good performance for the price. I am happy with it so far. For anyone looking to build a budget PC, I would recommend this CPU for sure.
Summary: Very good cpu for the money, would recommend it for any one on a budget and just need and computer for normal tasks like web browsing, word processing, play HI-DEF movies etc. Only little draw back is it limits ram to under 1333mhz but besides that its a very good processor.
