Excellent price for this item

Tamika, Amazon
16 August 2014
  • Summary: This was an excellent purchase for my new machine. It was cheaper than at least two other sites selling the same item. I would purchase from Amazon again if I build a different machine. I would recommend this for beginner to intermediate computer users but not for gamers.

Good processor for my purposes.

PCB, Amazon
3 January 2014
  • Summary: Bought this, along with a new mother board , to upgrade an old computer for use in an entertainment system. Works well in that application. Bought a cheap NVIDIA video card but so far not using it because the built in graphics processor easily handles a 50 inch HDTV. Running Linux.

Exceeded my expectations

Bryan Cabrera, Amazon
30 November 2013
  • Summary: Exceeded my expectations. I had low standards for this CPU. Not anymore, not much to say about this CPU, if your a bit skeptical for it then just think about it if your on a budget build it will work for you.

  • Summary: I got this CPU because based on the research I'd done for a few days, this was clearly the best bang for you buck. Not only did I save a lot of money with it, it's performance is outstanding! I am very pleased with this little chip and to anyone with a budget, I recommend this CPU.

Great budget processor!

Joshua Lambrose, Amazon
30 October 2013
  • Summary: I put this processor into a modest build, it's been great so far! Here's the build: This processor 8GB 1333 RAM 1TB Hard Drive Geforce 630 Before the Geforce 630, I ran Far Cry 3 Blood dragon and the Final Fantasy XIV:ARR benchmark. This processor ran Blood dragon at lowest settings at a more than playable frame rate. FFXIV also ran at a decent frame rate with medium settings. So I'd say this processor has a more than capable built-in video processor.

Solid entry level processor

D.L.C, Amazon
8 October 2013
  • Summary: Built two low power but capable desktops for my parents using this processor. Handles everything they throw at it and keeps asking for more, but honestly that isn't more than youtube, word processor and email. Paired the processor with MSI LGA1155/Intel B75/DDR3/SATA3 and USB 3.0/A and GbE/MicroATX Motherboard B75MA-E33 , Kingston HyperX 3K 120 GB SATA III 2.5-Inch 6.0 Gb/s Solid State Drive SH103S3/120G , Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory...

It is really good, worth it.

Juan G., Amazon
6 October 2013
  • Summary: Well i ordered this product for my new board Asus P8B75-M. It's more that i spected, it moves powerfull games with high settings, I think that for the price is a very good prossesor. My only cons is when i'm installing powerfull games, my pc lags a little bit, but after that is great processor for gaming. (better if you have a good video card) btw Amazon surprised me with a free promotional code for FFXIV, with 30 days free of the game only for bought this processor!!

Inexpensive CPU for Home Office use.

Stuart E. Neblett, Amazon
3 October 2013
  • Summary: Using a B75 chipset motherboard and normal PC12800 memory got Windows-7-64bit WEI's of 6.9, 7.7, 5.1, 6.3, & 5.9. Being a 55Watt Ivy Bridge CPU, you don't need a large power supply or have to worry about cooling. Price is about $50 cheaper than a I3- CPU. One con is that it does not support PCI-Express-3 graphics. Not having added a graphics card for games, not sure how much being limited to the PCI-Express-2 option would degrade the graphic cards performance.
