Summary: I bought this CPU for a family member budget build. It was for an older lady who did nothing beyond check emails and facebook. So this CPU isnt dead slow, nor the fastest, but its just right for what she needs. Everything was snappy for Windows 7.
Summary: Bought this CPU for a second PC that I wanted to put in the living room for basic computer usage. Wasn't planning on doing much gaming on it, as I have an i3 based system for that. However, I wanted to see how Planetside 2 would run on it. I wasn't expecting much out of a $67 chip ...boy was I wrong! Paired this bad boy with a Radeon 7770 and 8 gigs of ram and can consistently get 45 to 60 fps on medium/high settings.
Pros: Great super low budget gaming CPU. Plays Planetside 2 almost as fast as my i3 based system that was double the price!
Summary: Bought this to upgrade a kids PC. Paired it with the MSI ZH77A-G43 mobo, been rock solid from initial post on. Plays all their games well enough for their liking, with the EVGA GT640 video card. Games such as World of Tanks, Planetside 2, Hawkens, Minecraft, Ghost Sniper, Doom3 series. All mostly on medium settings but they are thrilled with the speed of the PC. Not far behind the other kids i3-2120 running on an Asus P8H77-V with a EVGA GTX650.
Summary: I used this processor along with 6gbram and my old 6970 and a B75 chipset to make a backup Home Gaming PC. Not sure why more aren't trying this processor for the unbeatable price. I use this setup to run MMO's on a 61' 1080P set and it runs great. Too often I think people buy a mid range CPU(I3) and pair it with a low end card and expect miracles when they'd often be better with a low-priced CPU(i.e. G2020) and using the extra money to get a little higher end GPU.
Summary: Great performance for a 55W CPU. Ideal corporate CPU. Match it with a B75 motherboard, 8GB DDR3-1333 1.5V ram and a couple of Monitors and the office girl will be buying you a beer on Friday after work.
Pros: Perfect price and performance. Nice business graphics.
Cons: Not a huge con but why can't Intel do something about their horrible CPU coolers. This has been going on for way to many years now.
