Great!

Trong Vue, Amazon

  • Summary: OK, just so you know, when you order this, it does NOT come with the thermal paste. You have to buy that seperately. They need to add that somewhere in the description. Without the thermal paste, you can not play gmaes like LoL or CSS or Programs that use alot of RAM on this processor.

Running Call of Duty 4 at 60 FPS, at 3.0 Ghz, at 59 degrees C.

  • Summary: Installed this processor on a Zotac G43 ITX motherboard, easily over-clocked to 3.0 ghz at stock voltage, stable. Coupled with a Galaxy Geforce 240 GT, and 2 GB of DDR2 RAM it can play Call of Duty 4 with every setting maxed at 60 Fps on a 720p monitor, and still stay below 60 C.

  • Summary: I've always been with Intel since my first computer. I've always been happy with their products not only because they can perform well, but their products are built to last. I bought this processor to use in a DVR computer system that I was building.

Decent Processor For Overclocking

T. Vela, Amazon
2 August 2010
  • Summary: I bought this processor in June of 2010 to replace an older processor for my brother's computer to play WoW(World of Warcraft)with decent performance and with a tight budget at that time. Over time this processor has done decent to run older games and just for everyday use.

It was and is still one of the BEST socket 775 dual cores EVER MADE...

HypheN, Amazon
27 July 2010
  • Summary: This lil guy is a TROOPER.. and I'm told when paired with a decent ASUS / high-end motherboard, it is easily overclockable up to 3.5-4 ghz if you have a robust enough heatsink / fan on it. With water cooling? Perhaps even better.

Runs very cool and performs well.

26 July 2010
  • Summary: Got this CPU for a Mediacenter PC that will be used only to stream HD content and it works very well. A passive heatsink is ok as this CPU won't generate much heat. Worked right out of the box with default BIOS settings.

Oldie but a Goodie

pennid, Amazon
15 July 2010
  • Summary: This chip is an oldie but a goodie. I wanted to refurbish a computer for a veteran, and this chip did the job. It is a reliable, workhorse ship and runs all the newest OS and software just fine.
