Great performance. Get thermal paste for installation.

Summary: A really big improvement on my dual core CPU. The built in graphics hardware is great. One tip: Get some thermal paste. You need fresh thermal paste to cool the chip with your existing processor fan. Thermal paste is not reusable.
Summary: This CPU is a powerhouse. I have been using this processor for a while, and I have never even come close to using its full potential. This handles multiple processes without flinching, and continues to impress me. Although Intel's CPU's are far more expensive than AMD's, I can assure you; you get what you pay for.
Summary: Wow! I just got a used i7 3770 (non -K) chip and it made my Windows experience silky smooth. I through a 5g SVP (smooth video project) with level 4 MadVR via MPC-HC and it hit 65% load at 64C temp on stock cooling. Dang! I'm sure you can do better with an overlooked unit, but I was coming from a i3 2100 so this was an eye opener. Excellent upgrade! You won't be disappointed.
Summary: This is a week old but so far it's worked nicely. It's a tough little SOB because when lowering the enclosure after gingerly placing it into the mobo, the housing fell on it in a way that it wasn't supposed to (the little lever on the side isn't exactly fool proof, I learned...) but after running Prime95 overnight (which, for my purposes, is plenty of time, though some people recommend 24 hours) it has held up nicely, no errors or anything.
