This is a great CPU, and well worth the price

R.J., Amazon
27 May 2015
  • Summary: This is a great CPU, and well worth the price. If you don't have a top of the line cooling solution and are running a typical fan/heatsink combo, I found that 4.5 GHz offers the best performance to heat ratio.

Great Processor For Most People (Great for Gamers, and "normal" multitaskers)

J. Clark, Amazon
14 May 2015
  • Summary: I bought this and it was a great processor and overclocked well too it struggled when I would try to run AutoCAD and multitask with other things like internet and pandora etc... I did however send it back for the 4930k which has much MUCH more power.

Awesome Processor!

Cody B Harney, Amazon
7 April 2015
  • Summary: Extremely fast processor! Works great for every application I've thrown at it. Overclock is a breeze and with a good board and heat sink you can really push the limits with this thing. Very Highly Recommend!

Master of Sub-$300 Quad CPUs

Nathan S., Newegg
25 February 2015
  • Pros: No complaints here. Overclocking this this was outstanding. I managed to get it to dam well near 5Ghz. But sense I'm new to that idea, I must have done something that wasn't really recommended, but still 5Ghz!
  • Cons: None unless you count heating up just a bit much. For me, it was an issue with the cooler I had, but does this CPU heat up more than the average one or is it just me.
