So far, so good.

Mark S., Newegg
1 October 2015
  • Summary: I haven't used it very much yet, so I'm still not entirely sure how good this is, but from what I've seen so far, this thing works great. Good price too. I almost got a more expensive processor, but I'm glad I went with this one instead. Cheaper and works great.
  • Pros: Cheap Works Good Fast Powerfull Hyperthreading
  • Cons: Quad-core (wish it had 6) Only runs half my RAM at 2400 MHz while the other half runs at 1334MHz

Update

Anonymous, Newegg
11 August 2015
  • Pros: After the install my idle temperature was 32-33 C. After several weeks of use the thermal paste has settled and the idle temps are now at 28C with load max temps at 48C @ 4.7 GHZ on a Corsair H110GT closed loop. Raally an astounding overclocker while maintaining temperatures on the die equally as...

Where to Begin!

Anonymous, Newegg
29 July 2015
  • Pros: I don't even know where to begin with this processor. I ran an AMD 8350 @ 4.3 since its release. Honestly it is a good processor I had no complaints. I was just looking for something more. I purchased a Asus deluxe board due to its upgraded components compared to other 2011 boards and WOW! Blown ...

Master of Sub-$300 Quad CPUs

Nathan S., Newegg
25 February 2015
  • Pros: No complaints here. Overclocking this this was outstanding. I managed to get it to dam well near 5Ghz. But sense I'm new to that idea, I must have done something that wasn't really recommended, but still 5Ghz!
  • Cons: None unless you count heating up just a bit much. For me, it was an issue with the cooler I had, but does this CPU heat up more than the average one or is it just me.

Amazing Processor

Tyler R., Newegg
10 February 2015
  • Summary: It's a little pricey but well worth the money. I haven't had a single problem with this processor in anything that I have done. It's a true beast for the price you pay.
  • Pros: Bought this processor for my first build after doing a lot of research. Not only does it allow me to do everything I want to now, but will allow me to do everything I need to do in the future as well. Amazing product.
  • Cons: Might be a little unnecessary for me to have this processor, but well worth every penny.

Awsome cpu

Christopher T., Newegg
25 January 2015
  • Summary: Finally decided to upgrade from my old evga 780i mobo running a q6600@3.2 with 4gb of ram. To a RIVBE paired with 16gb of g.skill ripjaws z and a 4820k@4.5. The change was night and day. Runs like a champ and looks good doing it! I like playing custom matches of sc2 with a unit supply limit of 1000.
  • Pros: Great cpu. Oc'ed to 4.5 no problem on stock voltage. Has run prime95 for more then 24hrs with out any issues. idles between 30°c and 35°c max load hasn't gone above 50°c. Havnt seen it stress out while multitasking gaming, movies, etc all running at one at once.
  • Cons: Can't think of any. For a gaming pc this cpu has more then enough power.

It's over 9000?!

G. T. Buchanan, Amazon
16 January 2015
  • Summary: But seriously. That's what I felt like when I saw how high this thing could overclock (~5.1GHz). I have a liquid cooling system, but it's not nearly good enough to maintain a safe temperature at those speeds. Be sure you always have the appropriate cooling for the speed of your chip!
