Summary: When you see Intel you should be sold. Intel costs more, but provide not only superior performance, outstanding durability, and they rarely have issues, but when you do have an issue you don't feel dreadful because you know how amazing Intel provides their support and information. AMD can't compare when it comes to Intel. But if you're on a budget, you'll get budget performance, and you'll peek towards AMD.
Summary: This processor has got to be one of the best I have come across. With the built-in HD4600 graphics in the CPU, video plays like a dream. 3D programs run flawless, in fact I don't believe I have even pushed this to turbo!! I'm not a gamer person myself but my son uses one of these and he's on cloud 10. Haswell is king!!

Summary: Purchased this processor as the heart of a new desktop build to replace a very ancient 8-year old computer. After viewing some YouTube how-to clips, I found the chip and supplied fan were simple to install. I now have several months of regular usage. Since this processor cannot be overclocked, the fan keeps the temperature safely within limits (no need to buy a special cooler, unless you just want to impress your friends).
Summary: Just fixed up my new computer with this chip. Fixing is easy. It's very fast and temperature is amazingly low. Tired overclocking it and it was stable. However, to be on the safe side, I prefer to run it in the original clock speed. Would have given it a 5 star if not for a new version 4790k. Summary: Nice fast processor. I debated for a long time between the Ivy and Haswell architectures, but ultimately decided to go with the newer release because (at time of purcahse), difference between the two in prices was a few dollars. I use my machine for a lot of parallel number crunching and have found it to be quite fast (as is to be expected).
Summary: This CPU is extremely fast for not being able to overclock. The stock cooler, as always, is not good at all for what Haswell requires in terms of controlling TDP (the heat generated by the CPU). You will have to invest in an aftermarket cooler, as Haswell is known to generate more heat than it's predecessor.
