Summary: The processor is installed and working beautifully. The upgrade accomplished its goal to provide additional bandwidth and processor power. I would recommend this package to anyone who is interested in upgrading an older Intel-based motherboard.
Summary: This processor is still the cornerstone of the computer I built a couple of years ago. I hope todays processors perform as good or better than this one. I am a true believer in Intel and this processor did not disappoint. I would recommend this processor to anyone.
Summary: My Son and I built a nice gaming computer, for his Christmas gift, based on Tom's Hardware's best under $1500 gamer machines. Bought all parts from Amazon. Had a problem with a couple of parts, but Amazon simply overnighted the parts and sent us RMA authorization to return the defective parts. No problems. System was everything advertized, and si still running strong 2 years later.
Summary: was looking for a quad core processor for my cousin's LGA 1156 system, have found a used 750 quad core (just what i wanted) for only $99 bucks. At first i thought it didnt sound right, i bought it anyways and i am so glad that i have recieved it in great working condition, since my cousin is using a low end Mini-atx motherboard i was only able to overclock it to 3.00ghz + turbo boost which is quite fine. gives him the performance that he needs by the games he plays.
Summary: I have this paired with an EVGA P55 Sli.board and an Evga 9800gtx+ card. It screams at stock speed. I have 6 tabs and a download going on now. I played Farcry2,ResidentEvil5,and LOTR online so far on high settings, without a flaw. With NO overclocking. I know this is an older build, I built it almost 2 years ago. I know it could be much faster, Ill overclock it someday.. This processor has had awesome reveiws. No graphics on it as it should be.. lol.
Summary: very fast CPU the i5 is just what I needed for my machine with it being a quad core CPU it can handle a lot of work at one time and it runs games like it's nothing great for whatever the normal gamer could need
