Not Worth The Cost!

Flip T., Newegg
29 December 2010
  • Summary: Also Had To Re-Install Windows 7 Ultimate For Windows To Reconize The HD Video On The CPU! Using The Intel DH55TC Motherboard With The CPU....
  • Pros: Great If You Only Do 1 Thing At A Time On Your PC!
  • Cons: Freezes Up When You Open 2 Or More Programs. And Don't Even Try To Do Any Movie Editing Or Burning And Open Another Program, It Comes Up "Not Responding" And Freezes! I Wasted 209.00 On This CPU.

overpriced garbage

Ying J., Newegg
28 June 2010
  • Summary: avoid this processor chip...don't let this chip with 32nm process fool you...intel locked this processor and gave it a small cache and only dual core to steal your money. This chip is capable of so much more but intel just wants your money go with the i5 750 or i7 920
  • Pros: 32nm process integrated hd gma GPU can obtain high clock rates w/ overclocking
  • Cons: too expensive for insignificant power savings only dual core

Intel's Wacky Pricing

Anonymous, Newegg
8 February 2010
  • Summary: Im glad Intel is losing money by overpricing, this is good for the competition...
  • Pros: Its a dual core, its 32nm, it runs a bit cooler than the C2D's....
  • Cons: Price, not sure why Intel has not fired their marketing director as of yet.. For 199.99$ you can get the 750 or better yet go all out and get yourself an AM3 955 and still have some cash left-over.... ridiculous IMO since an HTCP does not need an overpriced dual core of this nature...
