  • Summary: And there you have it the full Core i5 3570K review way beyond the initial release, a standalone review this time and if one thing has become clear, these are great processors for the gaming community. The tweaking potential as history has learned us is good but not great all due the the Intel Heat Spreader. Ivy bridge processors as such overheat quite fast once you pass 1.30 Volts on the processor.

  • Summary: Much like the Sandy Bridge i5-2500K processor was the best value in terms of price and performance for the 2nd generation Intel Core processors, the Ivy Bridge i5-3570K will surely be a popular processor among enthusiasts on a budget. The i5-3570K does not have the i7-3770K's Hyperthreading capability but is more than powerful enough for most tasks even at stock clocks.

  • Summary: When Intel launched Sandy Bridge in January 2011, it received a very favourable welcome but what was a ‘Tock’, which is to say a new architecture, was in fact also a sort of ‘Tick’, ie a new engraving process. The 32nm engraving launched a year earlier had in fact only been used on two and six-core processors and the combination of the new (ish) engraving process with the new architecture allowed Sandy Bridge to steal quite a march on its LGA 1156 predecessors launched...

Intel "IvyBridge" Core i7-3770K und Core i5-3570K

  • Conclusion: Es ist eigentlich Alles gesagt, ein großes Fazit braucht es angesichts der Ergebnisse, Rekorde und Werte nicht. Der IvyBridge ist eine absolut gelungene CPU-Generation und lässt mich als langjährigen CPU-Overclocker fast an jeder Stelle ins Schwärmen kommen. Wer ein paar Euro beim Kauf eines Rechners sparen will, kann ruhig noch auf SandyBridge-CPUs zurückgreifen.
  • Pros: günstiger Preis verglichen mit Sockel 2011, vollwertige, integrierte Grafik..., ...die der des SandyBridge deutlich überlegen ist, extrem gute Performance pro Takt / Kern, Skalierung auf extreme Kühlmethoden
  • Cons: Overclocking mit Luft / Wasser ab 1.3V, Temperaturen ab 4.5 GHZ sehr hoch
