Great processor

Amazon Customer, Amazon
18 March 2015
  • Summary: Had this installed by a REAL tech. Old school new school that cut his teeth on DOS. Had the first home computer then schooled for the new Gens. If you don`t know what DOS is or windows 95 was then you won`t get it. It`s the perfect processor. Doesn`t run hot.

Good Ol' i5!

Zeno C., Newegg
29 August 2014
  • Pros: Bought this for a friend and is still working almost two years later with stock cooler. Fast and works great as a minimal gaming CPU.
  • Cons: Thermal paste was a bit off on the stock cooler. But no problem.

Solid Piece of Hardware

Edward S., Newegg
30 July 2014
  • Pros: Does everything I bought it to do and have had no issue thus far. I havn't put to heavy of a load on it yet though, so we will see how it turns out. I have never had a bad experience with Intel and I dont expect to now.
  • Cons: Like always, stock fan kinda sucks.

but this little processor is just amazing. Under load

Talkahuano, Amazon
27 July 2014
  • Summary: I know it's silly to review at this point since Haswell came out, but this little processor is just amazing. Under load, its heatsink keeps it at around 55-60C - no need for extra cooling! The included graphics are good, honestly, they'll do for troubleshooting if the graphics card ever fails.

It's an Intel, what more needs to be said?

Steven A., Newegg
26 July 2014
  • Summary: I do not usually play around with over clocking, so I can not comment on that, but I'm sure it would handle a little boost with the stock cooler.
  • Pros: It's an Intel, ou are getting what you expect, great performance and reliability. The stock cooler was easy to install, comes with thermal paste applied and keeps this baby cool enough. The cooler is also quiet, and does have a slight buzz as some others have said, but it is so much quieter than ...
  • Cons: None as of yet.

FAST AND SMOOTH!!

Computer Dude, Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: I really like this processor for my custom builds. I can always count on this processor to perform. Add 8-16 gb DDR3 ram and you'll have a smooth running machine.
