Summary: This was my first build for a computer, I was thinking this processer would be hard to install but it was sooo much easer than it seemed. it is very very fast compaired to my core 2 duo . have had NO problems. so far ( 2 months).
Summary: I bought this item sub $200 because Amazon does not currently charge tax in CA and the Microcenter nearby had recently closed. It's a great processor, and for those that don't need the extra overclocking capabilities of an i5-3570k it's an awesome investment. PCIe 3.0 and 77W as described.
Summary: This is one powerful quad core. At first i was going to go with an AMD fx 4100 but then heard about the problems they had with multi-threading. This thing come with all the bells and whistles! The included fan works great. The CPU idles around 33-40 C.
Summary: What can i say about this cpu, i just moved from amd processors to intel because of the temperatures and the power consumption, after reading many reveiws about ivy bridge processors i couldnt say no!
Summary: I purchased this processor for my first custom build, and I am not disappointed. I didn't want to spend the extra money on the 3570K because I was not planning on overclocking, but still wanted the quad core power.
Summary: Intel has been on a roll with these core processors and this one is a very good low wattage (75 W) member of the group. It handles my work and play loads with ease, all while using a max of 75 watts of power. Very good product.
Summary: Bought this to use on an Intel DH77DF. The included heat sink fits nicely on the motherboard but I removed the thermal goop before installing it. Instead, I opted to put Artic Silver 5. Working great so far.
