Intel i5 is a Great Upgrade Chip

M. B. Quirin, Amazon
16 January 2013
  • Summary: The i5 installed easily and has a variable clock speed. It is a dependable cool-running chip but would recommend a beefier cooling fan than comes with the chip. Graphics performance is smooth but, if you're a gamer, you'll likely want a dedicated, high-speed graphics card.

Runs cool

Bruce Murray On Travel "Murray On Travel", Amazon
21 March 2012
  • Summary: I don't have the chance to purchase many processors but I always buy Intel and so far I'm happy with this unit. From my basic research it appeared that this was a good balance of speed and energy usage. I wanted to build a 24/7 machine that was powerful but very quiet.

Efficient and cool

Amazon Customer, Amazon
6 March 2012
  • Summary: Great performance, very cool and power friendly. If you want a fast processor for a HTPC or are concerned with wasting Watts, get this CPU. Haven't seen it cross 60 C yet under load, and it's only a hair slower than the 2500K. Normal users will find the speed great. Overclockers need not apply.

Great bang for the buck

Jeffrey S. Guillet, Amazon
20 February 2012
  • Summary: Super fast processor with super low power needs. Only 65W! I bought this for my new Windows 8 server build because it features SLAT for Win8 Hyper-V. Really nice low profile heat sync, too. Nearly silent. Highly recommended.

Works. Pentium G645 out and then the Quad Chip ...

jtlenaghan, Amazon
21 April 2015
  • Summary: Works. Pentium G645 out and then the Quad Chip in. For some reason the ASUS bios wants the chip to stay below 3GHz which Gigabyte's doesn't with the same chip on a similar H61 m/board. Well, no longer available processor bottlenecks after start-up.

Schnell & Sparsam

Christian "astra-power", Amazon
5 June 2012
  • Summary: Was soll man noch sagen.

  • Conclusion: siehe Bericht...
  • Pros: Preis fair, sehr gute Features, Turbo Modus, Stromverbrauch sehr gut, gute Leistung, schnell,
  • Cons: absolut nichts...
