Very Good

ss.xtreme, Ebay
6 March 2013
  • Summary: The 2400 works great for the user that is not too demanding. I found this processor to be quite stable. It was installed on a P8z77-v with 8mb memory and is being used every day for office and personal use.

It gives more than enough power for any modern software, games included.

3 March 2012
  • Summary: When it came to a new box I had to consider a few things while trying to fit my very limited budgets: a) socket 2011 has been released and a $300 cpu was already coming out; b) AMD still trying to compete seducing folks on a budget with Bulldozer and such; c) ivybridge is coming very soon; d) I don't need Intel's built in graphics. These were major considerations and there were more -- too many to list.

Fast, no hassle.

  • Summary: Super fast and you don't need to worry about overclocking or getting better fan for cooling. The stock fan works fine.

Better then a 1st get i7*

Kevin Perry, memoryexpress.com
11 December 2011
  • Summary: This is a great CPU, but If you have the money to get a 2500k you should get that instead even if you are not into overclocking. System Info for reference: Cooler Master 922, 8GB of GSkill Ram, Asus p8z68-v, i5 2400, Radeon HD 6950 2gb, Corsair tx750m
  • Pros: -At stock clocks this will beat any first gen i7 and will compete with a 2500k and 2600k -At idle it runs at 33-37C with a stock heatsink -Will run any modern game just fine as long as you have the GPU -Integrated Graphics is good for what it is (Can run SC2 @720p with 60-100FPS)
  • Cons: -Limited Overclocking -i5 2500k is not that much more so its better to get that if you have the money -Stock Heatsink is not good for gaming

Ken Dai, memoryexpress.com
3 June 2011
  • Summary: Overall is recommended.
  • Pros: Processing speed is fast.
  • Cons: It's too HOT with original fan. 50+ degree idle. 65 degree when playing 3D games , , I still like i5 first generation processors personally.

Hier nur einige Angaben zur Leistungsaufnahme

lo-cutus, geizhals.de
14 December 2013
