Cons: Intel has released this processor in two different socket types for reasons unknown to me. Summary: Buy an I7 and a good video card and forget Intels built in processor
Pros: I found the I3 can be overclocked to a factor of 22% and still stay below 160 degrees with the default factory cooler.
Cons: Wow, was I unimpressed with the video output on the I3 working on an Asus P7h55-M pro mother board. The 1 gig shared memory for the video was not worth it. Summary: I recently built a desktop PC for everyday use with this CPU, a Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB mini-itx motherboard, Lian-Li PC-Q07 tower and a Microcenter 64GB SSD. The performance of the machine overall is fantastic.
