A processor that delivers, at a reasonable price. Intel i3-3225 3.3Ghz.

powertooljoe, Ebay
9 May 2014
  • Summary: Build my own computer and after looking around to see what was available to fill my needs and purchased with ASUS P8Z77 motherboard, I definitely made the right choices on both. Having owned a similar computer with the same processor it was an easy choice for me. It handles all that I can throw at it with no problems to date. Not into "gaming" so I can't say anything about how it handles from that end.

Great Processor for the price

Pavel Bondarev, Amazon
15 December 2013
  • Summary: Bought this processor in February 2013 and couldn't be happier with it and its performance. My previous processor was an Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and that did the job for a while but it soon showed itself to be too outdated and upgrading would have cost more than it was worth it. I bought this i3 over an i5 or i7 just because i couldn't justify the price of the others if the chip itself offered hyper threading which would give it 4 cores (2 physical 2 virtual).

Excellent CPU for HTPC

MCO, Amazon
22 November 2013
  • Summary: I have purchased 20+ Intel CPU's over the last 4 years and they are all exceptional without problems. I wish all electronic products were this reliable and error free. This i3 was used in an HTPC and was perfect for the application. You cannot go wrong with this item when you want a replacement or are building a modest computer for general use.

Great for those on a budget

Kamuela, Amazon
18 November 2013
  • Summary: You can't compare apples to oranges, even though I'm going to. This CPU simply isn't as powerful as a former quad-core I had. But that's to be expected, this is a dual-core. Other than that, very stable. It seems like there's a lot of overclock leeway, but I haven't personally played with that aspect very long. Recommended for budget-conscious system builds.

This thing goes like stink!

Sir Chicken Head, Amazon
16 November 2013
  • Summary: Now this thing deserves 6 stars by me. The 4000 graphics never broke a sweat for my HTPC. It runs cool and cheap for XBMC and alike. Gave it 8 gigs Hyper x 1333 and it rips it up!
