  • Summary: Powerful performance, very low power draw. Used in my HTPC. More than enough performance for 1080p HD playback, some scaling post-processing, home serving needs, and even light gaming on the big screen.

Perfect Processor for NES Build

Cumminsman, Amazon
28 March 2012
  • Summary: At first i was hesitant in using this processor for a full HD HTPC that i built inside an old school NES however after extensive research i decided it was the way to go. The Heatsink and fan is small and extremely quiet (the computer as a whole is quieter than my xbox 360).

  • Summary: This CPU is more than enough for my needs (1080p movies, Browsing, Netflix, Pic editing) 35w TDP is great! 32C avg with stock cooler. I have not stress tested this under 100% load though. Integrated graphics look great and run HD content with no problems.

R. R. Girard, Amazon

  • Summary: I built a mini-ITX system using this CPU and an Intel DH67CFB3 mini ITX MB, and WOW, what a fantastic system. It is faster than my Intel P4 2.8 GHz CPU on an Epox MB. Highly recommended.

The Perfect Little Processor

afoor, Amazon
25 September 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this processor for my first HTPC and it's ideal for the purpose. I only have good things to say about the processor: 1) It'll handle any day-to-day activity you throw at it. Navigating in Windows 7 or Ubuntu is just as snappy as its quad-core i5 siblings.

Great TDP, Good Performance

Jeffro, Amazon
21 September 2011
  • Summary: Using this in a Windows home server, works really well. Very nice to have the performance it has at the TDP it has. Low power for a PC that is on so much was a priority and this chip delivers. Like it much more than the Atom solutions in this regard.
