Summary: Well its about time Intell can do a fast clock speed for the Front side bus that can stand up to AMD's CPU 1600 Mhz front side bus clock speed. and great 12 meg cache is realy something . with out using it. I have no idea on the preformance. however after looking at the price of that is close to 1,000.00 is clear expensive. I can go AMD's 2.7 Ghz Clock speed CPU and go simular clock speed of the front side bus. however loose heck of alot of cache buffer size.
The "Scratched Out" list price is higher than when this CPU first came out 7 YEARS AGO!!!

Summary: Just because you've listed this CPU as retailing at $1,699 doesn't make it so. The QX9775 retailed around $1,499, and this CPU retailed (in summer of 2007 when it came out) for only $1,399. Your $1,300 discount is actually an $800 discount, and I'm not so sure that is enough for a CPU that is nearly a decade past its prime.
