Fast CPU but overpriced
5 March 2009
Summary: I helped a friend with this CPU (he went all out and spent 3k on the entire computer) about 2 years ago and he still has it to this day. This CPU is an extreme edition (meaning it has an unlocked multiplier) and can overclock very nicely for enthusiasts.
Summary: No problem with this CPU. Works as expected and is very fast. Perfect price point when I bought it. Price to Performance ratio. Funny thing was, the slower processer was more expensive at the time.
Summary: Well its about time Intell can do a fast clock speed for the Front side bus that can stand up to AMD's CPU 1600 Mhz front side bus clock speed. and great 12 meg cache is realy something . with out using it. I have no idea on the preformance.
Summary: Much too high of a price for an outdated socket type. A core quad @ 3.0 goes for around $80. The extra .2 is not worth the huge price difference. For this price an lga 1150 quad can be bought.
