  • Summary: Well really old processor for the price, but back when this was top of the line the price was on $1200s and this is the best processor for my current motherboard, so I'm happy with it

  • Summary: Ottimo processore. Veloce e affidabile. Il top della serie per sk 775. Per chi possiede ancora questo tipo di socket è il massimo. Oggi il rapporto costo / prestazioni è più conveniente che mai.

Excellent price for an NOS CPU!!

Amazon Customer, Amazon
23 April 2013
  • Summary: It arrived a day earlier than expected. It IS new (new, old stock) or, considering the amazing price, maybe an unused pull? It included a genuine Intel Core 2 Extreme heatsink, which was not mentioned. Has been testing for the past couple days and it's working perfectly! I'll happy recommend buying from ETARATECH!

It works just fine.

4 April 2013
  • Summary: Upgraded an old Q6600 with HDD to this CPU and a new SSD. Windows score went from 5.9 (harddrive limit) to 7.4 (CPU limit). Most people don't realize they don't need a new computer, just need to update a few parts to remove the bottleneck. For those that marked down based on used status.... Really? SMH. Who cares if it's used. Brand new these were 1000.00 parts. Get over it. The part works and you mark it down for being used? Learn to read and observe.

You know you want it... :)

vandatech, Ebay
6 February 2013
  • Summary: I've got an older motherboard that's been abused while overclocking, but I was still able to get this to 4.2ghz instantly with very little tweaking. As soon as I get some time I'm sure I can go beyond that as well. With the overclock my benchmarks are on par with a new i7, so this easy and relatively inexpensive upgrade has further extended the life of my system.

Best processor for the Money! Fast and reliable.

okarango, Ebay
5 December 2012
  • Summary: Had an Intel motherboard with socket 775, to built a media computer, since I was planing to use a blue ray drive and tuner, thought I needed at least a 3 GHz multicore. Can say I was mistaken! Pros: Extremely fast. Hasn't complain yet to complex multitasking. Have another computer for Photoshop, with 965, 7i core processor. I can not tell which one is faster. Cons: None to the moment.

Intel Quad Core Extreme: Upgrade without replacing the mother board.

jason7y, Ebay
9 September 2012
  • Summary: Brought new life to an LGA775 motherboard. Everything runs faster. This purchase was part of a overall upgrade including going to Win7 64 bit, 8 gigs ram, and quadro D 2000 graphics. Apps like photoshop, flight sims, & CAD are much improved with this upgrade. Highly recommend if you don't want to replace everything and have motherboard with upgrade potential. The quad core extreme CPU was sold as used, but is still working.
