Perfect price to help me enable the Vx setting in the bios

Summary: This is just what I needed to enable the virtualization in the PC so that I could create Virtual machines in Centos6. This was easy as remove the CPU and install this one. This was put in a HP PC after doing quite a bit of research on which one I needed. Meaning I had to read the quick specs from HP and look at corresponding CPU's on Intel to find the one that needed that would fit the same socket.
Summary: I upgraded my old Dell With a single core Celeron CPU to this Duo core and it has breathed new life into my machine. I can barely keep up with the PC now. Don't know how I ever got along with out it!
Summary: Received earlier than the earliest estimate ( Awesome! ). CPU was installed into a $75 HP 2Gz Core 2 refurb. PC with Windows 7 Premium & 2GB memory. Added additional DDR2 memory (from an old upgrade) and flashed to latest BIOS to insure new CPU would be recognized, then installed CPU.
if you dont went to buy quad core cpu for 755, E8*** Series are The best!

Summary: The shipment arrived much faster than promised. In my case it arrived in 3 days. Not bad for shipping from West to East coast. The processor appears to be new as promised. The packaging is minimalistic as it is expected for OEM packaging. If you want it with the box you need to buy the boxed item for 3 or 4 times the price. Installation couldn't be easier. This was the first time I changed a processor and it is very straight forward.
Summary: I have this on a motherboard with only 2 Gigs of ram. I'm not a "gamer" but for normal computing it's fantastic. It competes with most current processors. Its "dual core" allows it to run any 64 bit operating system such as Windows or Linux. It was a good buy for me since I was upgrading from a Celeron chip and I didn't need a new fan. The computer performs like a new 2014 computer. It booted right up and went to the Internet for a few Microsoft and Intel new drivers.
