Summary: This review is for the seller as well as the product. The only reason why I'm including the seller information here is because I couldn't (or didn't know how to) edit the seller review, but I wish I could because they were great and was going to send me a replacement processor since I wasn't sure if...
Summary: It's a nice upgrade from an E7500 or below -- Takes just a few minutes to change over and there's a noticable difference in performance. I recommend the new Arctic MX-4 thermal paste -- better than the popular Arctic 5.
Summary: This is probably one of the best upgrades you can get for an old 775 socket chipset, particularly prebuilts. Although quadcore is rapidly advancing as the typical demographic, you cannot beat the price-to-hertz ratio.
Summary: Bought this to replace a celeron processor in my Dell Inspiron. Already upped the memory, but was still lagging when it came to videos and photoshop. Rather than buying another computer, I decided to see if upgrading the processor would help.
Perfect price to help me enable the Vx setting in the bios

Summary: This is just what I needed to enable the virtualization in the PC so that I could create Virtual machines in Centos6. This was easy as remove the CPU and install this one. This was put in a HP PC after doing quite a bit of research on which one I needed.
Summary: Received earlier than the earliest estimate ( Awesome! ). CPU was installed into a $75 HP 2Gz Core 2 refurb. PC with Windows 7 Premium & 2GB memory. Added additional DDR2 memory (from an old upgrade) and flashed to latest BIOS to insure new CPU would be recognized, then installed CPU.
Works great, easy install, nice upgrade for a great price!

Summary: The shipment arrived much faster than promised. In my case it arrived in 3 days. Not bad for shipping from West to East coast. The processor appears to be new as promised. The packaging is minimalistic as it is expected for OEM packaging.
