Summary: I got this to upgrade an old computer I had.It came in a timely manner was well protected in the package. The product was in great condition. It installed in a matter of minutes and is working just fine.
Summary: Previous 3 year old CPU died. This is a great replacement for a 9400 even though it's a little slower. Rather than scrapping the computer, I have a nice extra computer for $40. Company shipped fast and sent along the heatsink/fan assembly which saved another $10 plus shipping. I'm very pleased.
Summary: The product arrived in a damaged box. I tried the processor in two computers and the same problem occurred in both. Wasted most of a week giving the seller the benefit of doubt, wrong decision. Apparently someone else returned the product and it was resold based on the looks of the packaging.
Summary: This is the first Intel CPU I've had in a long time and the first Duo core chip. So far I'm enjoying it. I still have to figure out what I can and can't do with this chip. I don't regularly overclock but I might with this one as it seems easy to do from posts I've read on the internet.
Summary: Faster than my old athlon x2 3800. Have to take away 1 star for running hotter than my above AMD cpu. My old AMD idles around 35C while this cpu runs at 45C. Also should take away star for how difficult cpu installation is and terrible stock cpu fan.
Summary: It's the E6600. This is probably the best buy out there for price/performance ratio. Reportedly it overclocks well also. I do intensive video editing and Photoshop/Illustrator work, and this is my best performing system yet. It offers Intel stability and compatibility with very high performance.
Summary: Low heat, very easy install, good to go out of the box. I changed a few settings and overclocked to 3.2Ghz with minimal effort. I left it running Prime 95 on both cores overnight and it didn't even break sweat. Intel really pulled out all the stops on this one.
