Great Value

Anon, Amazon

  • Summary: If you aren't planning to do any heavy lifting like high end games or video editing, you'll be fine with any modern desktop dual-core. I bought it for a mini-ITX HTPC to serve as both the CPU and GPU. It does great. I haven't found a piece of video it can't play lag free. The most demanding thing a HTPC will face is playing a Bluray movie. Video tends to be more of a CPU intense application and this CPU is more than enough for the job.

Lots of power little price!

william, Amazon
6 January 2013
  • Summary: This processor is great! Not only is it a CPU but a GPU is built in all on one chip! Also this processor gives quite a bit of power for $55, 2.7 GHz dual core and 2 Megs of L3 cache. If you're on a budget I highly suggest this processor rather than a used 2.6 GHz Pentium or the more popular 2.4 GHz Celerons this is truly your best value. In addition this processor it is an lga socket so when servicing you never have to worry about bending pins or breaking them off.

Great processor for everyday tasks.

migs511, Ebay

  • Summary: This is a good processor at an affordable price. It is compatible with motherboards using the core i3/i5/i7 processors. This enables you to build an afforbable rig that you can upgrade as you go if you cant afford the high priced processors just mentioned, and still have a decent computer for your everyday tasks. Using it right now on an asus P8Z68-V/lx and is working great.
