Summary: This was on sale for cheaper than the G530 so I bought it instead. Powerful little office/home CPU. Did the job great, and still will if you prefer to stick with older generation over Haswell.
Summary: For a office desktop this is a perfect package. Plenty fast enough and solid. I wouldn't use it as a gamer board but it wasn't meant for that. Price is low too. Packaged with processor fan in a retail box.
Summary: great first pc build processor 2.6 ghz i can play the new battlefield hardline beta on low settings and it runs really smooth also i can play warframe on medium settings at 60 fps so i would say its a very decent cpu.
Summary: Not you old school Celerons that normally sucked but a new breed that gives good performance for you average user. This Processor is not for a power user but an average to light user that just uses basic games, internet, and videos.
Summary: I have more shopping amazon with this line of intel processors (celeron) because they are cheap and yielders and wing moment of truth I recommend them last are very widely used in the office and I have no problems
Summary: I have this running in our front desk machine and it's perfect. Great performance for any basic tasks. Running in tandem with a decent amount of RAM and an SSD has created a very snappy office work machine using primarily MSOffice products and the web. Blows through everything with performance to spare. Nothing bad I can really say about this processor.
Works as advertised...didn't want to wait for the Celeron Haswells...

Summary: I was considering on waiting for the Celeron Haswells to make the upgrade from my Atom system but since I got a good deal from Amazon for an ECS MB I decided to take the leap. It works and works well as the processor for my HTPC setup. Basically the HD2500 graphics on this chip does well for all of the HD video and for Windows Media Center. I am running this connected to my Silicondust Prime and again, it all works just dandy in full screen. Smooth play and playback.
