  • Summary: Bought This after reviewing some other CPU's, I almost Bought an AMD Quad Core but decide to take a chance on this and it's an Excellent CPU for Home Theater PC. I paired it with an Elitegroup H61H2-MV, 4 GB Ram and an LG Blu-Ray drive. Works flawless in a Media Center Case with Remote.

Did the job great, and still will if you prefer to stick ...

CA, Amazon
25 July 2014
  • Summary: This was on sale for cheaper than the G530 so I bought it instead. Powerful little office/home CPU. Did the job great, and still will if you prefer to stick with older generation over Haswell.

Ample speed and stable.

  • Summary: For a office desktop this is a perfect package. Plenty fast enough and solid. I wouldn't use it as a gamer board but it wasn't meant for that. Price is low too. Packaged with processor fan in a retail box.

  • Summary: Not you old school Celerons that normally sucked but a new breed that gives good performance for you average user. This Processor is not for a power user but an average to light user that just uses basic games, internet, and videos.

Perfect for low power work machines.

abcheck, Amazon
4 February 2014
  • Summary: I have this running in our front desk machine and it's perfect. Great performance for any basic tasks. Running in tandem with a decent amount of RAM and an SSD has created a very snappy office work machine using primarily MSOffice products and the web. Blows through everything with performance to spare. Nothing bad I can really say about this processor.

I tested this CPU in three machines :)

  • Summary: I love LOVE love the mini-ITX builds I have down with this CPU. I also suggest you install a Samsung Pro 840 series hard drive with this chip and prefer GIgabyte and ECS motherboards, with Asus as a third choice. With SSD high performance drives, this little chip has a lot of bang for the buck.

Budget processor for budget builds.

Stephen Lear, Amazon
7 January 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this processor two months ago for a budget build. While I will swap it out for an i5 in the future, I've been extremely happy with its performance. The highest temp I've seen it at with the stock cooler was 38C. It's usually running in the 20C range with Firefox, Pidgin, Steam, Winamp, and Skype running. It pushes 40fps on Minecraft with a 12-chunk render distance.
