Summary: Has more power than you think.... Had it in an old Shuttle SD30G2 Plus and was able to overclock it to 2.4GHZ with 667mhz ddr2 memory. Even stock clocked, the thing ran all modern games that I threw at it. Bootup time was quick and it could crunch with the best of them. Ran it for 4 years in a system before finally upgrading it to a Duo so reliability is there too (as with all intel chips).
Summary: I purchased this CPU to build my mother's PC, she just use it for basic stuff like Office 2007 and Internet browsing. She says that she likes it, and that is fast enough for her. I really can't tell you that I have experienced this CPU because I built it and she took it away to her office, but I tried to keep costs low and I have no regrets. So far, E1200 is the only CPU from Celeron's product line that has 2 cores.
