Great buy from a great Ebay supplier!

Summary: I bought this used ship as the top of system chip for my six-year old system. It's currently performing wonderfully. Thanks for the great economical price and improved performance over the stock chip.
Summary: This little jewel is lightning fast! I replaced a Sempron single core processor with this and there is no comparison! This is by far the best purchase I've ever made on ebay! I couldn't be happier!
Summary: I needed a cost effective upgrade for my aging PC. I built this machine around 4 years ago. It was based on AMD's AM2 Platform. I bought their fastest Chip avaiable at that time (AMD Athlon 6000 X2). This was an awesome chip. Did everything I needed it to do. (along with SLI nVidia graphics cards and 4gb of ram). Fast forward 4 years and that same chip isn't vary fast anymore. I have read about the AM2 boards supporting AM2+ Quad core chips with a simple BIOS flash.
Summary: What more could you ask for? You can bring your computer into the next gen for under $60.00. Plus, you can OC this thing w/o a problem. This thing sped up my games and overall comp considerably.
Summary: "Amazing!" Is what crossed my mind when I saw this CPU running, its amazingly good, quiet and comes at a very low price, I can just recommend getting a decent motherboard, and another cooler, like the Thermaltake R1, apart from that, it saves a lot of energy in its idle-mode, and runs great when on full load, paired with a 9600 fatal1ty I can run call of duty 4 in full resolution, just perfect. Thumbs up to AMD for always creating nice products.
Summary: I like BOTH AMD and INTEL and usally buy what ever I get the best deal on. I moved from a Intel e6600 overclocked to 3.2GHz to the stock clock 2.3GHz 9600 Phenom and when burning video my e6600 would run at 100% most of the time. I got a SMOKIN deal on the 9600 Phenom and a am2+ motherboard so I tried it out and WOW !!!!!!
