I could've gone with an i5, but opted for a more budget friendly setup and have been very happy with it - my new rig is tearing up some games. Honestly can't say that it would be worth the extra $$ to have bought the Intel. This is a solid CPU with nice overhead for OC'ing and an excellent price/performance ratio. Read more
The X6 1100T may be out, but for performance and price, wait till that CPU gets overshadowed by the next generation and THEN think of buying it. Unlike INTEL, which until recently has let its CPUs do a major portion of the heavy lifting (like little fondu cookers), AMD seemlessly passes off OpenGL to discrete GPUs for far less $$$. Read more
