Summary: This processor is exactly what I needed in my PC. It works on older model motherboards that support AMD cards. The processor arrived in the mail super fast -- faster than my amazon order lol. This was my first time installing a new processor in my PC and it is not as difficult as I've imagined it to be. I just followed the instructions included and it was easier than I thought. Highly recommend.
Summary: I was in a market to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 530. I didnt want to spend a whole lot. But also wanted a powerful system which can take in any load thrown at it. Also wanted to have a 64 bit system. My usual work involves watching online TV / Word Processing / Some GUI S/W ( Dreamweaver / Photoshop / etc). Photo editing. Photo Management. My constraints : Budget / Dell Inspiron case (supports M-ATX form factor (Micro ATX.
Summary: after having this processor for about 6 months i am very happy with the results. i haven't had any problems with running multiple programs at the same time also i have found out that if you decide to overclock this processor you can hit 4ghz easily without too much trouble which is just awesome it also has hidden cores which you can unlock really easily through your bios.
Summary: I purchased the Phenom II X4 after my old processor and motherboard were fried by a lightning strike. This processor is absolutely amazing! It outperforms my father's Intel processor with similar specs, and it never gets too hot either. This is the first processor that I haven't explored overclocking beyond factory settings since the Turbo mode is more than enough.
Summary: Running at 3.8GHZ for over a year now like a champ! Will clock higher for sure but you will need more advanced cooling to do so. FYI my motherboard is an Asus M4A78 PRO and this processor is technically not supported but it worked perfect.
Excerpt: Background: I picked this chip up because I knew its potential and Microcenter happened to have one for $89. If you enjoy overclocking AMDs, you'll like this CPU and I honestly had fun working with it.
It is an excellent processor, no matter what anyone says!

Summary: I got mine at a discount for $130 awhile back. The 2 disabled cores unlock - but they are obviously defective. The other 4 cores work great. My 960T is overclocked to 4100 MHz on air and runs at 35C on full load. (I found it is actually better to leave the cool and quiet on - this way the cores do not overload the HT link) Cooled with coolmaster 212 heatsink with one fan. This CPU has never felt slow. It plays nicely with all of my other hardware.
