Summary: The CPU is great but I was lead to believe I was recieving the CPU in the box with heat-sink and fan. However this was not the case, I received only the CPU in a small plastic protective case. No box or heat-sink with fan
Summary: well, i was a long time AMD fan. But it was never as difficult before for me to pick an AMD chip as it is this time. Intel with comparable performance has much smaller power consumption. Oh Well
Summary: Trust me, the extra money is well worth it on an i5
Pros: After owning this for a year, I have taken this bad boy to battle countless times. It does the job good, but nothing spectacular. You will notice some dips in performance at the highest settings even with a good GPU. I would recommend the Intel i5 2500(K if you plan to OC it) instead as you will ...
Cons: Its just average, in the line of CPU's that are available. The CPU performs well but you can see its limitations.
Summary: I have this lady humming at 3.919ghz 19.0 multiplier 2000 bus 1.45 volts and lowered the HT th 203 with NO OTHER ADJUSTMENTS as i tested and I am getting better benchmarks and test results than lower Cpu settings and higher ht settings.
Pros: Killer multi-app speed, killer low temp operation, killer low power consumption, killer overclocking ability, killer video editing ability without stalling or getting the "jitters" i guess just killer. With very minimal overclocking knowledge you can make her "hum"
Cons: I purchased this with mobo combo, did not recieve "black" edition as AMD confirmed with serial numbers. But this only applies to my wanting to overclock the POOP out of it... Why the 3 egger....NOT BLACK EDITION AS I PAID FOR GRRRRRR.
Summary: Great processor, but the link as well as details stated that it would have a heatsink. It didn't however. It was shipped in a generic CPU plastic holder without paste. Fortunately I had a heatsink rated for the processor, and was able to attach it.
Summary: There was no Heat sink included with the CPU which I was not aware of and is something the seller should include in their description because now i have to wait for a new Heat sink to arrive, when I could have purchased it when i purchased the CPU.

Excerpt: - somewhat simple set up-effortless to set up cores-got to over clock to three.4ghz with no fantastic alter in temperature -stock fan is Really annoying and loud, I recommended if your obtaining this acquire a fan to replace it, it will get really annoying.
