Summary: This thing is awesome for an older board. Put it in my ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe, replacing a Dual-Core chip. It is like night and day difference. Between this chip, a 250GB SSD, and a 700 Series EVGA videocard, it is like having a new box, all for less than $400. Amazing what a six year old system can do with a few solid upgrades. Will be running this system for awhile. Buy this chip if you have an older motherboard that will support it.
Delivered quickly. The fastest CPU that the MoBo will take... and it shows!

Summary: I was given an older HP computer. HP didn't acknowledge that this chip would work in it. But it was the right socket, the right power and it DOES! The BIOS doesn't know what to call it, but it is happy to work with it. Twice the clock rate and double the cores. Fun. Delivered promptly too.
Summary: Still have this cpu and not using it full time because it doesnt work in the machine i bought it for. However as a back up it works perfectly in my larger machine. i had a bad cpu and plugged this in to see if i could get use from my machine while i was waiting on the replacement and it worked great for the 2 days i had it in the machine. sterilized it and placed it back in the box for a future build.
Summary: AMD at it's finest! This processor is great! My only complaint here was that I THOUGHT I was buying a NEW one, didn't check the actual shipping order. I received a used processor instead but cost me MORE than a new one by the time I bought the cooling fan to go with it. What a RIP-OFF! Now that I know, I will be very wary of what I buy on Amazon!
Summary: A great upgrade from a single core to this quad core. Added memory and this board flies. Had two of the same boards upgraded. Very happy with this processor and use them everyday all day. I would recommend this upgrade to everyone.
Processor compatibility is determined by your motherboard.

Summary: Love it! The AMD Phenon II x4 9xx Quad-Core processor is one of the most stable and affordable out there. If you need a MAX TDP 95 Watt (Thermal Design Power) processor instead of the TDP 125 Watt for your motherboard, look for the letter W in the middle of the AMD code (HDX9xxWxxxxxx)(Deneb.
Summary: This processor, though old in computer years, is powerful enough to play all the newer games that I have, Saints Row IV, Thief, Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2, etc. I have over 70 games on steam and this processor coupled with my amd Radeon hd 6670 crushes all of them.
