Looking to speed up your computer, upgrade your RAM first

Summary: I bought this to upgrade an older AMD dual core processor (on my CQ5210F) . The install process was fairly easy and strait forward. I did it myself in under an hour. My computer is somewhat faster, but nothing like when I upgraded my RAM from 3 GBs to 4.
Summary: This thing is awesome for an older board. Put it in my ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe, replacing a Dual-Core chip. It is like night and day difference. Between this chip, a 250GB SSD, and a 700 Series EVGA videocard, it is like having a new box, all for less than $400.
Summary: I ordered this to replace my son's max 2.6Ghz Phenom II 9950 Black Edition in his Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H AM2/AM2+/AM3 socket motherboard. While the speed difference looks small, it made a major difference.
Delivered quickly. The fastest CPU that the MoBo will take... and it shows!

Summary: I was given an older HP computer. HP didn't acknowledge that this chip would work in it. But it was the right socket, the right power and it DOES! The BIOS doesn't know what to call it, but it is happy to work with it. Twice the clock rate and double the cores. Fun. Delivered promptly too.
Summary: The processor came in speedy time, though the packaging used appeared reused. It came with everything it said it had and worked perfectly, The thermal glue that came with it was just the right amount though I wish I could of it in an appropriate applicator instead of a awkward plastic pouch.
