Summary: i was cruzin around looking for a cheap upgrade to pep up an older system. found this on amazon for about a 100$. While it has no L3 Cache, it does come stock at 3.2ghz, which alone makes this a great deal. But alas AMD has always made processors that go beyond the limits of factory settings.
Solid Processor, but may want to spend a little more $$$

Summary: No complaints on the processor so far. Easy to install (given you read the instructions) and runs Premiere Pro CS5 just fine. Bought this CPU to edit footage from my T2i and I'm blow away by the performance--it's almost real time!
Summary: Needed something that would fit the limitations of my motherboard AM2+ 95W. This fit the bill and has worked flawlessly. It comes with OEM fan which I did not use, preferring my much more robust aftermarket cooling. Good bang for the buck.
Summary: I was really stoked to pop this cpu in my pc. But; who ever shipped it made a big mistake. They shoved the fragile processor inside a small ziploc bag. When i saw it i was like "Uh-Oh". And of course, The pins on the cpu where bent radically.
Summary: For the price of this processor, you just can't beat it. Even with the FX (bulldozer) chips out there. Bulldozer is an improvement from this, but not enough to fork out at least a hundred extra dollars.
Summary: this processor is fast for what it is.but you can tell its a little slow.the l3 cashe missing is noticeable.but yet it still is faster than any amd dual core.i bought this to put in a am3+ motherboard as a temporary cpu until the am3+ cpus came out.whn i bought it it was 93 bucks shipped.and at that...
Summary: I had an AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz before getting this. That dual core worked very well for web browsing and simple programs, but after a year of using Sony Vegas and other intense programs, it was very apparent that it was slowing me down. This CPU seemed like a perfect improvement for a solid price.
Summary: this is awesome my pc is like a totally different machine i understand the name phenom as this cpu is totally phenomenal i recommend amd products as i think they equal and in alot of ways outperform intel
Summary: Just got this processor today to replace an athlon 64 x2 on my ugly yellow Asus M2A-VM motherboard. The official Asus site did not list this processor as compatible with my board, but after reading on some forums that people had luck, I gave it a try.
