  • Conclusion: AMD's long anticipated move to socket AM3 is finally here, but it disappoints somewhat with reduced cache sizes and clock rates as well as entry-level performance. The price is right, though.
  • Pros: Reasonably priced. True quad core. Well integrated with AMD's platform technology.
  • Cons: Entry-level performance. Poor performance on digital photography benchmarks.
